In Equilibrium began in Edinburgh in 1998 and over the years has grown to the national training company it is today.  Although still based in Edinburgh and Fife, we have a network of consultants working in all areas of the UK, as well as abroad when required.  You can view the consultants’ profiles by clicking on “our consultants” heading at the top left of this page.

Two of the co-founders still run the company and head up the close, tight-knit team.  They practice what they preach and the offices provide a happy, calm, efficient working environment.  We hope this is reflected in the response you will receive from any of the five team members below, who are the voices you will hear should you wish to contact us.

Alastair TaylorAlastair Taylor

A co-founder of the business, Alastair knows the content or our courses and consultancy inside out and back to front. So whether you want to arrange some corporate coaching; design a bespoke course from scratch; amend an existing one; or ask a simple question concerning delegate numbers, he’s your man.

Jan LawrenceJan Lawrence

Jan was also a co-founder of In Equilibrium and is the technical specialist of the company. If you have any questions about our website or emailed updates she'll be able to answer them. When she takes her "anorak" off however, she is very approachable and knowledgeable in every aspect of our consultancy and course repertoire.

Fiona BrennanFiona Brennan

Fiona has been looking after the financial aspects of In Equilibrium since the early days. She will cheerfully answer any queries you may have of a financial, general or invoicing nature.

 

Amanda FurnessAmanda Furness

Amanda joined the company in 2003 and primarily writes and edits the newsletter. She's always delighted to hear feedback from our readers and warmly welcomes any contributions you would like to make or answer any general enquiries you may have.

Ellie McLavinEllie McLavin

Ellie has been meticulously handling course administration since 2005. She will happily answer questions relating to in-house course bookings and materials as well as any more general enquiries.
