Stress Management Competencies Research

Emma Donaldson-Feilder, who has worked with In-Equilibrium as a consultant since 2002, is involved in this research.

The first phase of the research aimed to identify the competencies required by managers to prevent and reduce stress at work is now available for review. This research has been funded by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and supported by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), who are providing free access to the research results as follows:

The research team is embarking on phase 2 of the research, which aims to validate the competency framework developed in phase 1 and to produce an indicator tool that measures the degree to which a manager shows the relevant competencies.  The results of this second phase are expected to be published in early 2008.
