
Emma is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, and specialises in helping organisations achieve sustainable performance through improving the well-being, morale, productivity and engagement of staff. She combines practical understanding of workplace issues with expert knowledge of well-being and stress management.
Emma has worked with a wide range of public and private sector organisations, providing training and consultancy to help employers, managers and individuals minimise stress risks. She uses surveys, focus groups and other diagnostic techniques as a basis for facilitating organisational and behavioural change. She is an experienced trainer and leadership/management developer with considerable coaching expertise and qualifications in psychometrics.
Emma is co-director of a research programme investigating the link between management approach and employee stress, recently awarded Health and Safety Executive funding to identify the specific behaviours required by managers to implement its Stress Management Standards. She is author of numerous publications and conference papers and visiting lecturer at City University and Goldsmiths College, University of London.
