Fiona McLaren

  

Fiona McLaren is an organisational consultant and coach with an MSc in Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology from King’s College London.  She wrote her dissertation on the problem of absenteeism in the professional services sector in the City of London. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. Fiona is also visiting lecturer in organisational psychology at King's College London and Brunel University.

Before working in organisational consultancy, Fiona spent several years in HR at a senior management level in the City.  Her clients have ranged from major City and national law firms, barristers’ chambers, oil and gas companies, charities to private and public companies.

Having seen many careers lose pace, promotions lost and relationships damaged, she is passionate about working with people to enhance their effectiveness.  Recognizing that work pressures are not always susceptible to change, she works with organisations and individuals to help them develop healthy coping skills. 

Fiona has been an active member of the HR scene, contributing to various business books,  publications and training videos, giving talks for The College of Law and The Law Society and running regular workshops for HR in Law.
