
Sarah Dale is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Chartered Accountant, with experience of working with a wide variety of public and private sector organisations. She takes a pragmatic approach in applying best practice to address the issues of stress and well-being at work, both at an organisational and personal level. She has designed and delivered training events and seminars to identify and tackle the causes of work-place stress, as well as to help people improve their coping skills. Sarah has also led the development of a stress risk assessment approach with a previous employer, as well as being a member of the International Stress Management Association (ISMA).
In consultancy, training and support roles, Sarah has helped organisations tackle a range of stress-related issues. For example, she designed and delivering a coaching programme to help individuals through times of change and challenge in their business, with a particular emphasis on work-life balance and well-being, for themselves and the business. Sarah designed and carried out a project on Mental Health in Students, to gain an understanding of how students perceived stress and what their main stressors were. This was in cooperation with the University Counselling Service, and Learning Support Unit. In addition, she has developed ‘Away Days’ for managers and staff.
