The 2009 ABP conference will focus on the theme of working with business in harder times. We will have 4 streams of presentations:

Stream 1

Adapting to a downturn: How can Business Psychologists focus their efforts to respond to a different business climate.

Stream 2

Well-being in hard times: Maintaining the mental, physical and spiritual well being of ourselves and our clients.

Stream 3

Business psychology in practice: Case studies, skills development and innovations in the field.

Stream 4

Developing business psychology: New models, theories and approaches in business psychology.

Keynote speaker Professor Ivan Robertson, Improving Well-being
Professor Robertson will present his work on the concept of Psychological Well-being - a fundamental state achieved when the employer and employee are completely in tune. Often the missing ingredient in moving an organisation to the next level.
