Nobody thinks twice about an athlete taking a break to recover from the physical output of energy they used to perform at their best.
If you think about the mental output of energy you use every day at work, is it a surprise to learn that your performance will suffer if you also don’t take time to recover? A 15 minute break every 90 minutes is recommended but if this is impractical, do remember to take regular breaks – your performance will improve as a result.
