Training Courses
We were one of the first companies to offer UK training courses in resilience skills. Over the past four years we have developed resilience leadership courses as well as resilience courses for all employees. Each resilience training course begins by answering the question “What is resilience?” and explaining how resilience, stress and pressure relate to each other. Delegates learn how to measure their current levels of resilience and the courses then go on to provide the knowledge, tools and exercises to increase one or more of the seven “learnable resilience skills”, including realistic optimism. Later in the day the foundations for a resilience development plan are laid. Delegate feedback has confirmed to us that personal involvement is a key factor in the learning process and, for this reason, examples of challenging situations and circumstances which delegates can personally relate to are used in all resilience courses.
We are currently running many resilience programmes for organisations including 6 and 12 month follow-up sessions to monitor improvements and practical experiences. Resilient Leadership is our 1-day in-house training course specifically for managers. Developing Personal Resilience is for all employees.
