Leadership Skills (1-day)
The successful Manager recognises the importance of a focused team spirit within their workforce.  It can be an organisation's most powerful tool for increased productivity and performance.  Participants will conduct an analysis of their individual leadership style and will experience a range of approaches and tools to facilitate effective leadership and team motivation.  An underlying theme will be consideration of strategies to manage stress and well-being through effective leadership and management approaches.

Introduction to Coaching Skills (1-day)
This highly practical and interactive 1-day training course introduces participants to the basic principles of coaching.  It explores the range of coaching styles, models and approaches and offers participants substantial practice in a safe environment, with constructive feedback.  Coaching is reviewed in an organisational context and standards for good practice established.  The course will explore what we understand by coaching and how it compares to other disciplines (e.g. counselling, mentoring) and consider the key skills and qualities required for effective coaching.  Personal styles will also be considered in terms of how this will influence each individual as a coach.

Facilitation, Problem Solving and Appreciative Inquiry Skills for Managers (1-day)
The role of Leaders within organisations is changing to accommodate the sophisticated needs of today’s demanding workforce. The traditional ‘push’ style of Management is being replaced by a ‘pull’ approach to Leadership. Equally, organisations expect an increased level of engagement and proactivity from individuals and teams. How can Managers encourage such behaviours and juggle the demands of the organisation and it’s customers?This Facilitation, Problem Solving and Appreciative Inquiry Skills training course will provide a range of practical tools and techniques to enable Managers to enlist the full support of their teams in overcoming obstacles to achieve their business goals.

Managers Managing Change (1-day)
In the current changing business environment the ability to communicate and lead change whilst managing our own reactions is a key part of the management role.  Having the confidence to engage with the change process in a positive and empowering way is important in influencing other’s perception of change.  This course is designed to offer managers a greater understanding of change and to introduce a range of practical change management tools which can be used to develop a change management development plan.

Employee Engagement (1-day)
Employee engagement is generally recognised as one of the biggest problems affecting organisations today, this is doubly so in turbulent economic times, when uncertainty is high. With only one third of the work force engaged there is huge scope for improvement which translates directly to the bottom line. Managers will learn how to initially measure then devise a strategy that boosts employee engagement in their organisation. Employees also benefit as they in turn become more involved and enthusiastic about their work.

Managing and Developing Successful Teams (1-day)
In this course, delegates will gain the skills and knowledge to structure, measure and tune performance in their team environment.  Using practical exercises delegates will identify strategies and approaches to equip their team with the skills and capabilities to optimise productivity and performance and deliver high-quality results.  Delegates will conduct an analysis of their own preferred Team Role personality, and identify how to conduct an analysis of the dynamics of their teams.  A range of approaches and tools will be introduced to delegates to assist in the management and development of their team.  Consideration will be given to the need to manage team well-being and approaches to accommodate this.
