Remember that with the on-set of winter comes fewer daylight hours which is enough to leave many of us feeling a little flat.
However, adding a short lunchtime walk to your day will not only improve your well-being but will also allow your body to absorb some sunlight which enhances the effect of mood-stabilising chemicals like serotonin.
Reminding yourself that your afternoon will be more energised and that it will be dark by the time you leave work may be enough to motivate you to leave your desk and get some fresh air.
