Newsletter resources include a workplace wellbeing white paper

The resources featured in our Autumn 2019 newsletter are:

Every Mind Matters

Every Mind Matters is a new platform launched by Public Health England and the NHS.  It aims to help people take simple steps to look after their mental health, improve their mental wellbeing and support others. It includes a quiz which results in Your Mind Plan, 5 simple actions to try based on the responses you give to the 5 questions asked.

Inquiry into bullying and harassment

An independent inquiry into bullying and harassment in the House of Lords was published in July.  Although obviously very specific to this unique working environment, some of the recommendations may be helpful to any organisation looking to review their policies and procedures.

Pathway for staff exposed to a traumatic incident at work

A resource from the Mental Health at Work website, provides an example of a trauma pathway.  It has been designed to help managers support staff who have experienced something traumatic at work.

The Role of Line Managers in Promoting Positive Mental Health
