We were recently delighted to be asked to run a Personal Resilience training day for the National Association of Police Well-being Advisors (NAPWA).
The workshop was attended by police services from Cambridge, Dorset, Hampshire, Metropolitan Police, South Wales, South Yorkshire, Thames Valley and Gibraltar. Our trainer Michelle Spirit delivered the course in Oxford. The welfare advisors felt the day proved to be very useful for them in terms of learning resilience techniques and afterwards Henry Sacramento, Chairman of NAPWA, commented …
“On behalf of NAPWA I wish to thank you for all your help and assistance
in making our workshop a great success. Full credit has to go to Michelle
Spirit who is a true professional and her delivery of an already very much
done subject was excellent. With her command and positive energy she kept
the momentum going throughout the day. A good tell tale of this is when no
one nods off after lunch, she kept us all interested and focussed.
Thank you once again.”
Michelle Spirit responded, “It was great to share and experience with this receptive group the different ways of building resilience. I hope all feel empowered to use this knowledge and understanding at both work and home to help them cope with the pressures they face on a daily basis.”
