All these workshops can be delivered digitally in two hours or less. Some create awareness, while others develop knowledge through offering practical tips and the opportunity for unique discussions. All are delivered by subject experts and have the aim that learners return to their role uplifted with new knowledge and awareness to help enhance wellbeing in the workplace.
A 90 minute Introduction to Mindfulness
For those who find juggling multiple daily demands can leave them feeling a bit frazzled, this session equips participants with powerful tools that enable them to de-activate stress and respond to pressure in a calm and positive fashion. A handout outlining all the exercises practised during the session together with suggested resources for exploring the topic more deeply is provided.
Active Bystander and Ally training courses
The Active Bystander and Ally training courses equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to identify, prevent and address problematic behaviours at work, fostering a culture of respect and support.
Comply and Prevent Sexual Harassment at Work Course
A 2-hour, interactive workshop valuable for managers, leaders, HR professionals and anyone responsible for ensuring compliance with the new duty to prevent sexual harassment at work. It aims to increase awareness and understanding of roles, responsibilities and conduct in relation to the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023.
Exploring the Impact of Micro-aggressions
Micro-aggressions are an example of subtle, indirect discrimination against a marginalised group. In this 2-hour course, participants will consider their impact on our interactions with others and increase their awareness of strategies to manage and reduce the occurrence of micro-aggressions in the workplace.
Practitioner Insights: 90min HSE Stress Management Standards Workshop
A short, virtual, interactive session facilitated by a highly experienced trainer. It provides guidance on how the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) Management Standards, tools and frameworks can be used to proactively manage stress at work.
Returning to Work: Anxiety Management & Agoraphobia
This 2-hour course is for those who would like to understand what anxiety is and how issues develop. Practical actions to take, based on evidence of what works, to reduce feelings of anxiety in situations that can cause individuals to feel panic are discussed.
Strategies to Promote a Good Night's Sleep
During this 2-hour workshop, delegates explore the importance of sleep and how to make realistic changes to improve their sleep quality and quantity. The workshop is highly interactive with exercises, checklists and action planning. It includes guidance from the Health & Safety Executive and the NHS.
Understanding the Dynamics of Domestic Abuse
Explore the complexities of domestic abuse, how it impacts on wellbeing and learn to recognise, respond and intervene to support victims in the workplace. The training is suitable for anyone in the workplace, particularly those in positions providing support such as HR, line managers, team leaders and mental health first aiders.
Understanding Vicarious Trauma
Essential training for anyone involved, directly or indirectly, in supporting people experiencing distress or trauma and thus at risk of compassion fatigue. Those in these wide-ranging roles can, over time, develop symptoms that detrimentally affect their own wellbeing and it is essential that they are aware of the signs of vicarious trauma and understand what steps they can take to protect their own wellbeing.
