Managing a Hybrid Workforce

In-House Training Courses > Managing a Hybrid Workforce

This interactive course for team leaders and managers builds confidence in managing a hybrid team and focuses on specific skills to improve communication, team cohesion, trust, wellbeing and performance.

Why Managing a Hybrid Workforce Training is so important

Hybrid working has evolved over the last 4 years, however, according to a recent study by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), many employers have not proactively provided training for their managers to equip them with the skills to manage and support hybrid teams.

In this study, Anthony Painter, Director of Policy and External Affairs at the CMI, said managers will play a “crucial” role in ensuring the long term viability of hybrid working, adding “it's time to move away from ad hoc approaches and adopt a proactive stance, equipping managers with the tools they need to succeed in navigating the complexities of hybrid work environments.”

These ‘complexities’ may refer to motivating team members; building trust and relationships; effective communication; team cohesion; protecting worklife balance and wellbeing; confidence in having difficult conversations online; resolving conflict; managing performance and ensuring team members know who and where to go to for support when they need it.

This ‘Managing a Hybrid Workforce’ interactive and practical training course will equip managers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively lead in a hybrid work environment by giving them an opportunity to consider their current working practices and upskill to meet the demands of new hybrid working arrangements.
