This short, virtual, interactive session is facilitated by a highly experienced trainer and provides guidance on the HSE Management Standards, tools and frameworks and how these can be used to proactively manage stress at work.

Why learning to apply the HSE Management Standards is so important

The HSE Management Standards provide a well-defined stress management framework. This practical, interactive session focuses on the key priorities of the Management Standards, which include: raising awareness of organisational stress policy; considering supportive changes to team practices, and having meaningful conversations for proactive risk assessment.

This session will include interactive discussions within:

  • An overview of management and legal responsibilities.
  • Risk assessment requirement, with practical application of a risk management process during this session.
  • An overview of your organisation's policy and process - as appropriate.
  • Available organisational and external support, and how best to encourage individuals to access these.

The session will include opportunities to reflect on your organisation’s current procedures and approaches to managing stress. Group discussions and short interactive exercises will allow participants to learn from each other through sharing experiences and practices as appropriate.
