Our courses in this section are designed to prevent and address harassment, discrimination, bullying, and other behaviours that could compromise an individual's sense of dignity and wellbeing. The aim always being that learners come away feeling empowered with understanding, having new skills to practice and their confidence boosted to raise, address and/or prevent inappropriate behaviours in their workplace. This then positively contributing to a work environment where every individual can flourish and reach their true potential.
Dignity at Work
Our Dignity at Work training is designed to foster a respectful and inclusive work environment. The training aims to prevent and address inappropriate workplace behaviours that can undermine an individual's dignity and well-being.
Bullying in the Workplace Training for Managers
This course gives those with managerial responsibility an understanding of bullying in the workplace and provides an opportunity to discuss good practice in a relaxed, flexible manner with plenty of opportunities for questions and answers.
Bullying in the Workplace: Be Aware
This course raises awareness of what bullying and harassment is and when it is taking place. It also covers the responsibilities of all those involved together with actions which should be taken if you believe you are being bullied or harassed.
Speaking up in the Workplace
This training gives delegates the opportunity to explore the barriers that prevent people from speaking up and introduces practical strategies to encourage active participation in meetings and discussions.
Dealing with Difficult Behaviours
Whether the problem is dealing with angry and aggressive behaviour, conflicts and disagreements, or negative, defensive and unresponsive people, this training will equip participants with the skills to learn to resolve these situations effectively and positively.
Dealing with Incivility at Work
This interactive course explores the principles and practice of civility at work. Participants learn how to recognise and challenge instances of incivility and practise techniques to communicate and interact with increased care, consideration and respect.
Tackling Sexual Harassment at Work
Sexual harassment can have a range of serious physical and psychological impacts for those who experience it. This course both equips those who are harassed with the confidence to speak out and disarms those who perpetrate the harassment by making them aware of inappropriate behaviours.
Comply and Prevent Sexual Harassment at Work Course
A 2-hour, interactive workshop to increase awareness and understanding of the new duty to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, in line with the introduction of the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023.
Active Bystander and Ally training courses
The Active Bystander and Ally training courses equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to identify, prevent, and address problematic behaviours at work, fostering a culture of respect and support.
Understanding the Dynamics of Domestic Abuse
Explore the complexities of domestic abuse, how it impacts on wellbeing and learn to recognise, respond and intervene to support victims in the workplace. The training is suitable for anyone in the workplace, particularly those in positions providing support such as HR, line managers, team leaders and mental health first aiders.
How to Conduct Professional Investigations in the Workplace
An interactive 1-day course which deals with both the practical aspects of conducting an investigation, as well as the ensuing evaluation once the investigation has taken place.
