Anita Malster

Anita is an experienced Trainer and Facilitator, delivering training in Suicide First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mindfulness and Youth Personal & Social Development across the corporate, public and charity sectors.

Whilst working for a large charitable Trust, Anita was responsible for rolling out a programme of MHFA Adult and Youth courses and designing a Mental Health Strategy for the Trust. Her work involved delivering training that addressed the needs of some of the UK’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. Anita witnessed first-hand the impact of poor mental health and is passionate about increasing awareness to reduce stigma and increase understanding and empathy.

Anita is a highly effective and skilled communicator with proven success at engaging course participants from all professions and backgrounds and across all levels of the organisation. She delivers engaging sessions through group discussion, multi-media presentations, learning exercises and examples of lived experience. Anita’s training delivery has been described as ‘professional and supportive’, and with her personable and open training style, she encourages group discussion and sharing of best practice.

Anita's Experience

Anita has been delivering training in Mental Health First Aid for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in designing and delivering bespoke courses. She is happy to explore how she can help organisations meet their training needs in an engaging and interactive way.

Anita is also qualified to deliver Adult and Youth Mindfulness programmes.
