You don’t have to accept what you’ve got … but it helps.

It is all too easy to be constantly looking towards our next goal or aiming to own the latest gadget.  However, it appears that in societies where wealth is more equally spread, the population is both happier and healthier.  So by looking at what you already have, rather than what you think you should have or want, feelings of anxiety may be reduced and your sense of well-being increased.
