Unless you have very young children, there is one place at home and in the workplace where you are guaranteed to get some time on your own … the toilet.
So next time you need some time out, take yourself off to the WC, lock the door, close your eyes and breathe deeply (might be easier if you go prepared with a few drops of essential oil sprinkled on a tissue) for a few minutes.
Flush the toilet a few times and imagine some of your stress being flushed away with the water in the bowl.
Perhaps it’s not the most glamorous tip we’ve every published but sometimes the practical overcomes all else!
