Don’t let the onset of autumn and the prospect of shorter days stop you getting out for a walk during daylight hours.

New research has shown that, not only can walking benefit your mental health, but that UV rays have been found to release a compound which lowers blood pressure and could reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.  All this, plus having the ability to reduce our stress levels – has a brisk, invigorating walk ever sounded so attractive?
